Bill-Aloha-Eddy

Bill Eddy began writing “The EDDY Line” in 2004. The recipients included people he’s worked with, and stayed in touch with, over the last several years, fraternity brothers, and people he worked with during his 12 years in Hawaii.

Bill was quite surprised that The EDDY Line was so well received. People responded enthusiastically by email, at cocktail and dinner parties, and during shopping center industry events..

His concept was very simple – He wrote his personal newsletters in the same way that he would talk to you, or talk to a group of people, and added 2-3 color photos that reflected the title and content of each issue of The EDDY Line.

Mailchimp publishes his newsletters now, and Bill is exploring new roads and new opportunities. As he says, “We’re always learning, and always growing.”

Bill served on the Board of Directors for the “Surfing Heritage & Culture Center, (SHACC) from 2017-2025, and is the Co-Producer of “Addicted to Joy,” love stories about a way of life–the evolution of Surfing, Surf Culture, and the “Human Spirit,” that embraces all cultures and every generation . As a result, he’s meeting and working with men and women in all facets of media, including, new TV digital platforms, filmmakers, film production, and leaders in the world of surfing.

He also served as the E.V.P., Business Development, for BEONDTV, a rapidly growing high-quality global viewing platform. He worked with seasoned professionals and Emmy Award winning co-founders, Carlos Amezcua, and Amie Martin. “Media has always been in my DNA, and I love working with these talented people,” Bill says.

Remember, “It’s all connected”….

Your enthusiasm and insights are 2 of the reasons I enjoy this newsletter…BUT the real reason is I’ve admired you for 69 years…Mom told me I had to.

      So funny!!!
T.G. was right – It’s called showing respect or your elders, no matter how you may really feel
You’ve learned, and appreciated many excellent attributes, courtesies, manners, and the skills required to pick-up female talent, (no explanation necessary) and teach them to adore you

I love you, Hash, and treasure the times and places we’ve enjoyed together!

e.g. Cabo – golf tournaments – endless bars and night clubs.
      You’ve been an excellent student!!!

    Bill,
    Go Bears.
I will never forget it rained at the Cal vs SC football game in Berkeley and you bought a Bears hat, I ultimately had to throw away my shoes and your bride was the smartest she had on waterproof boots.
    Best
    Jon
