Bill Eddy began writing “The EDDY Line” in 2004. His “ACT” software program published and distributed his personal Newsletter to a little over a 1000 recipients in his Contact List. The recipients included people he worked with, liked, and stayed in touch with over the last several years, clients, and people that he worked with when he lived in Hawaii, his fraternity brothers, family, and good friends.
He credits Bob Liljenwall, his close friend and media advisor, for coming up with the idea, and the name, “The EDDY Line” for his newsletter. Bill and Bob collaborated on the content and the writing for several years. He said, “It’s the best thing that we’ve ever done.” It enhanced our awareness, and our business. Bill’s business interests have evolved over the years. Living in Hawaii for over 11 years has had a profound impact on his life, interests, and business opportunities.
Bill was quite surprised that The EDDY Line was so well received. People responded enthusiastically by email, at cocktail and dinner parties, during the shopping center industry events, and the annual ICSC convention in Las Vegas, NV.
His concept was very simple – He wrote his personal newsletters in the same way that he would talk to you, or talk to a group of people, and added 2-3 color photos that reflected the title and content of each issue of The EDDY Line.
Mailchimp publishes his newsletters now, and Bill is exploring new roads and new opportunities. As he says, “We’re always learning, and always growing.”
Bill serves on the Board of Directors for the “Surfing Heritage & Culture Center, (SHACC) and is the Co-Producer of “Addicted to Joy,” love stories about a way of life, the evolution of Surf Culture, and the “Human Spirit,” that embraces all cultures and every generation . As a result, he’s meeting and working with men and women in all facets of media, including, new TV digital platforms, filmmakers, film production, leaders in the world of surfing, and surf culture, the manufacturers and retailers of surfing lifestyle apparel, surfboards, outdoor apparel, footwear, and goods.
He also serves as the E.V.P., Business Development, for BEONDTV, a rapidly growing high-quality global viewing platform. He works closely with seasoned professionals and Emmy Award winning co-founders, Carlos Amezcua, and Amie Martin. “Media has always been in my DNA, and I love working with these talented people,” Bill says.
Remember, “It’s all connected”….

You’ve learned, and appreciated many excellent attributes, courtesies, manners, and the skills required to pick-up female talent, (no explanation necessary) and teach them to adore you
I love you, Hash, and treasure the times and places we’ve enjoyed together!

You’ve been an excellent student!!!
