There’s a special pause this time of year—-the soft space between Christmas and a New Year. We look back with gratitude and look forward with hope! A rare moment to breathe, to appreciate the people and the stories that shaped the year behind us—what was, and what might be possible in the year ahead…

To me, that is the spirit of ‘Aloha’—being present, open-hearted, and a curiosity about the possibilities that await in 2026!

See the Possibilities

My curiosity sparks ideas and the permission to wander and wonder. I’m reminded of how much enjoyment there is to share stories, reconnect, and explore.

I was being persuaded to write a children’s book. “You’re kidding,” I said. “I’ll be in uncharted waters.” You can do it,” I was told. Well, I followed my curiosity and sense of adventure. I was open to what I didn’t plan, not knowing where it would take me. Eventually, it became something real.Something enjoyable, but I sure didn’t see this one coming!

I was willing to explore, so, “The Delightful and Amusing Adventures of Doodles and Molly.” became a reality. Who knew?

Two best friends, Doodles and Molly, embark on delightful and inspiring adventures.

Creating, writing, and illustrating an engaging children’s book is always a collective effort! My friend and illustrator, David Nessl, provided the artistic vision and innovative spirit that helped shape Doodles & Molly, and also my second and third books. David’s talent makes these stories shine!

With Curiosity and Creativity, anything is possible!

For all the curious hearts who believe that the world is full of surprises and adventure…and that new friends can be found in the most unexpected places…

Why not write a continuing series of books (Are you kidding?) about Doodles and Molly’s next adventure(s)?

Slow down, Bill! – Let me think about that. Where does their next adventure take them? A tropical island? The big city? Someplace magical? Will they meet new friends?

Yes, they meet new friends who will capture your heart!

  • Introducing The New Stars of my second and third books..
Fred and Alice....Two lovable, best friends, and adventurous Penguins

Fred and Alice….Two lovable, best friends, and adventurous Penguins from Antarctica, are destined for stardom, and have waddled into Doodles and Molly’s world.

Fred…is adventurous, a little clumsy, full of heart, and oh so lovable.

Alice is Fred’s quick witted best friend…calm, clever, and a problem-solver that every adventure needs.

“The adventure continues…and things become a bit chilly!”

  • Kids love sequels they can look forward to, and I guess we all do too.

Don’t go away…the fun and the magic is just around the corner.
